We are closed for holidays during week 28-31 both in the office and goods reception.

Veralit

An electrolytic nickel plating that produces thick coatings.
An electrolytic nickel plating method specifically designed to build nickel layers up to 5 mm. The coating provides ductile and dense nickel layers with extremely high corrosion resistance. The process is preceded by a special pre-treatment technique which provides a unique adhesion to the base substrate. The VERALIT process is formulated to provide less tensile and compressive stresses in the layers than other nickel processes.
VERALIT is an electrolytic precipitated nickel coating that produces dense, ductile layers that can be easily reworked by turning, milling or grinding. Surface treatment with VERALIT can be advantageously used for repairing damaged surfaces as it can be coated with thick layers. As the treatment is carried out at a maximum of 50°C, there is no need to worry about mould effects. VERALIT is cathodic towards steel, which provides cathodic protection. This means that the layer provides a barrier protection. For the base material to have adequate corrosion protection, the layer must be dense. It is thus the density of the layer that is the main factor in achieving good corrosion protection. As the layers are pore-free, this contributes to the good corrosion properties.
